Oh My Bleepin Bleep

So its started again! After becoming sick with scarlet fever a month ago, im back on my P90x quest for peak physical condition.

If you look back at my first post youll see a huge amount of surprise at how incredibly difficult this work out is. Starting over now its even worse!
Granted i didnt pass out this time but my muscles were taken to absolute physical exhaustion!

Until now i have substituted resistance bands for pull ups for lack of a stable wall, ceiling, or door frame to hang a bar. With all the time off getting well i built a frame and hung a bar to keep in the car port, cold for sure.. but out of the rain!

Now that i am doing the workout the way Tony Horton intended i am even more resolute in my assumption that he is a true masochist! Literally half way through the workout i couldnt even do 1 unassisted pull up! And after doing all those pull ups i could hardly finish the push ups for the workout. My arms are literally shaking right now and i finished a half hour ago!

Im actually really glad i started out with resistance bands... not because it gave me a good base to work with, but because if i had tried pull ups from the start i would have quit this program after day 1.

Im gonna need more support than ever to get through this workout now... so all you people reading my site please help encourage me as much as possible, cause there are definitely gonna be many days where ill wanna say F' it!

  1. Dude, it could be worse... When we first started working out, I couldn't have done one pull up and that was before we had started a workout. It'll happen for you, just take your time. You know your body adjusts quickly, within a week you'll be pumping them out.
